Taurine 2.9 g per kg of dry mix

 Instructions per batch (makes 9 cups of food)  Can be made in bulk!

• Mix 180g (1 ¼ cup) of Nutrapure Meal in a large bowl with 4 cups of warm water.

• Mix well and let sit to rehydrate for 20 minutes.

• Add 4 cups of raw or gently cooked meat (NO GROUND BONES). Note: for lower fat diets and pancreatic diets you can drain the fat off before adding to the Meal Mix.

• Add 4 TBSP of Omega 6  Sunflower or Safflower oil. 

• Add 1200 mg of Omega 3 fish oil or 1 can of unflavoured sardines in water, drained.

• Add 2 raw or cooked eggs.

• Add 1-2 TBSP Nutrapure Meal Booster (optional).

• Mix everything well. Refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage.

Instructions par lot (9 tasses de nourriture)

• Dans un grand bol, mélangez 180 g ( 1 ¼  tasse) de mélange de repas Nutrapure avec 4 tasses d’eau tiède.

• Bien mélanger et laisser reposer pour réhydrater pendant 20 minutes.

• Ajoutez 4 tasses de viande crue ou cuite doucement (SANS OS HACHÉS.)

• Ajoutez 4 cuillères à soupe d’huile de tournesol ou de carthame oméga 6.

• Ajoutez 1200 mg d’huile de poisson oméga 3 ou 1 boîte de sardines sans saveur dans l’eau égouttée.

• Ajoutez 2 œufs crus ou cuits.

• Ajoutez 1 à 2 cuillers à soupe de Nutrapure Meal Booster (facultatif) 

Bien mélanger le tout. Conserver au réfrigérateur jusqu'à 3 jours ou au congélateur pour une conservation plus longue.  

Baking in oven instructions:

•  In a large, rimmed baking tray like a lasagna type baking dish mix  1/4 cups of Nutrapure Meal Mix with hot water (not boiling) and stir very well.
• Let sit for 20 minutes.
• Add in all other ingredients: 2lb fresh ground meat, 2 eggs, Omega 3 & 6 oils and optional Nutrapure Meal Booster and mix very well.
• Bake at low temperature 185-200 degrees for 60 minutes. 
• Remove from oven and leave out on counter to cool and absorb liquids.
• Stir well and store in containers or freezer bags.
• Keep enough in the fridge for 3 days. Freeze the rest.

1 cup of YBF Pure Nutrition Mix is approx. 350 calories. Total calorie count depends on the protein added and fat content of the added protein.

Make the best dog treats using this mix:

1 cup of Pure Nutrition food mix

1 cup of warm water or broth

1 egg

1 lb of fresh ground meat of your choice (or canned fish in water/drained approx. 2-3 cans)

1 TBSP of liver powder (optional but recommended)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients well. Drop teaspoon full of mixture onto non-stick cookie sheet. Cook treats until edges start to brown, approx. 25 minutes. (Due to some ovens cooking hotter than others you may need to adjust the cooking time.) Store in fridge for up to 1 week or months in the freezer. This recipe makes approx. 50 cookies. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper for easier clean up.
